Redirect Your Ohio Tax Dollars to JCCS Scholarships
Friends of JCCS now have a virtually cost-free way to make a meaningful contribution to the life of a JCCS student. Jefferson County Christian School has partnered with the Ohio Christian Education Network (OCEN) to benefit our students. You have the opportunity to give a child a life-changing opportunity to attend a high-quality Christian school that might be unaffordable to his or her family. Even better, for Ohio taxpayers, there is no cost to yourself.
Ohio taxpayers can redirect their state tax dollars to support faith-based schools like Jefferson County Christian School. The State of Ohio's Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) tax credit authorizes donors who contribute to K-12 student scholarships through a certified SGO to receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction in their state taxes up to $750 per individual ($1,500 per married couple). Your gift to OCEN SGO will go directly to a scholarship for a student attending Jefferson County Christian School.
Simply said, it is a win-win. Ohio donors, without costing a dime, reduce the taxes they owe, and students receive a Christ-centered education focused on academic excellence while pointing them toward their Kingdom purpose.
Just choose the way you would like to donate. Visit OCEN SGO with instructions on how to mail a check or make a donation online. You can be certain your JCCS designated gift will fund a scholarship for a JCCS student with priority given to students in financial need. All donations received by April 15, 2025, can be claimed as a tax credit on your 2024 Ohio taxes.
